Each hood is created using CBD's exclusive carbon-core process, and allowed to cure for a full 24 hours under vacuum. The aerospace inspired manufacturing method allows CBD to create a hood with three times stronger then the typical hand laid hood. The Carbon By Design hood is fully functional and retains a full OEM latch points. All hoods incorporate billet aluminum hinge plates which are fully machined.
