GRAVANA Type-W GTO Carbon Fiber RamAir & Heat Extractor Style Hood

The Gravana Type-W hood is real 3K 2x2 Carbon Fiber and features functional air vents with rear heat extractors. The air vent ducts route air from the intake scoops directly over the factory air box area. In addition to the inlet vents, the Gravana Type-W Hood (aka- Woodward Hood) incorporates Rear Cowl Style Heat Extraction Vents without any ugly raised sections of the hood. This hood is fully functional and retains OEM latch points, and incorporates stainless steel and/or billet aluminum hardware for added strength. The Type-W hood comes finished and ready to bolt-on, or you can custom paint it if you want. This hood utilizes the factory hood main latch and secondary safety latch. In an effort to offer the highest quality composites, with the very best craftsmanship, at a reasonable price, Gravana has partnered with a leading aerospace and motorsports composite manufacturer to build the Type-W GTO Hood. With nearly 30 years in the composite business, the tooling, molds and manufacturing are absolutely precise. Unlike many other brands on the market, Gravana hoods are designed to fit PRECISE, with few modifications or adjustments to your car. Sure, there are always some modifications, such as relocating the windshield washer nozzles, but our philosophy is to keep it simple. Gravana recommends purchasing a windshield washer upgrade, which clip-mounts to your windshield wipers. These nozzles perform more effeciently than the OE hood-mounted nozzles. The best nozzles are from late model Pontiac Grand Am and can be found through your local Pontiac dealer. Gravana does NOT recommend modifying the hood to fit the OE nozzles. This hood is hand constructed with the highest quality materials available for a fit and finish that will blow you away! And, everything is manufactured in the USA! Your credit card will not be processed until you approve the sale. Or, you can email or call us for a shipping quote prior to ordering. Returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee. Shipping will not be refunded. Please inspect the hood thoroghly upon receipt for any shipping damage prior to signing for it! If the item is damaged, please refuse delivery. Once you sign for it, you are agreeing that it is not damaged and you assume responsibility! All shipping damage claims must be filed with Gravana by the customer within 24 hours of delivery. Claims made after that are subject to denial from the freight company.
